If you know how to drive, you must have used the road-test booking app of ICBC. Amazingly, this is a common experience across a whole generation because its design hasn’t changed for a decade 😂! Shocking indeed. A service used by thousands of people in BC still keeps the 1990s design and continues letting new drivers suffer.

Redesign Goals:
1. Diagnose any UI/UX issues and resolve those.
2. Renovate the design with modern style (clean and simple) but respect its current visual guidance.
3. Design corresponding mobile views since the old design isn’t mobile responsive.

1. Understand the task flow and decide the KFC (keep, fix, change) of the current website.
2. Overhaul the entire website and apply better UI/UX design plus modern visual style.
3. Come up with other ideas to make the service smarter.
The old banners of FB and Linked-in were done 2 years ago, so the marketing department wanted it to be refurbished to reflect our personality and work styles of FreshWorks.
Since our branding consist of four highly-saturated colors and a cartoon-ish fruit logo, I set the tone of the new design to be more fun, dynamic, and diverse for FB. Check the real look here: https://www.facebook.com/FreshWorksStudio/

Battle Snake is a community of developers who compete for fun and for glory. It grew from a single, yearly event into a global, open-source community that's active year-round. The game is a multiplayer version of the classic arcade game Snake, where teams program a snake AI to compete against others.
FreshWorks attended the 2019 Battle Snake. We wanted a custom T-shirt specifically for Battle Snake meanwhile showcasing our brand. To present the concept of ‘Snake’, I transformed the logo of FreshWorks to a 'Fresh Nnake'. The developers who participated the event really love it and they even wear it to work quite often afterward!!


We try our best to be eco-friendly and encourage everyone in the office to recycle the garbage. Therefore, the HR team hoped to put up posters to give instructions on classifying the common garbage at workplace. After research, we've come up with 6 categories specific to our office: Compost, Mixed Paper, Hard Plastic & Tins, London Drugs (they recycle certain types), Refundables and Landfill. The ultimate goal is to minimize the garbage going into the 'Landfill' trash can.
